Larry Zimmerman comments:
My notes show that a Peter Zimmerman was born at Steffisburg, 23 August 1668, to Hans Zimmerman and Barbara Gilgen who had been married on 12 January 1663, and I have images of both those records (image 94/564, LDS Film 2005787 for Peter’s birth and image 70/571, LDS Film 2005964 for the marriage of his parents). I have not found anything further on Peter in the Steffisburg Kirchenbuch, although I certainly may have missed a pertinent entry. Does anyone have a marriage record for this Peter or information about his children?
