The Mulberry News, December 20, 1929, page 1:
Died -- Charles Henry Carpenter, a resident of Ardeth Camp, four miles north of town; died at his home Saturday morning. He was born February 10, 1861 being 68 years old at the time of his death.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon Rev. A. Stufevin of Liberal delivered the funeral discourse. Burial was in Shilo cemetery northeast of Oskaloosa. The body was in charge of the Berkey Funeral Service.

Death: Nov. 13, 2011 Nola F Sell, of Overland Park, Kansas, went to be with her Lord peacefully Sunday morning, November 13, 2011. She is survived by her only daughter, Kelly Templeman, and her husband, Jon, of Overland Park, Kansas, her pride and joy grandchildren, Brock Christian Templeman and Carly Rae Templeman, also of Overland Park, Kansas. Other survivors include her brother, Harold James, and wife, Susan, of Warsaw, Missouri; and sisters, Donna Craig and husband Phil, of Tucson, Arizona, twins: Linda Burton and husband Jim, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Glenda Chiles and husband Kenneth Moore, Jr, of Columbia, Missouri; as well as a dear sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lois and Clark Lewis, Jr, of Clinton, Missouri; along with many special nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Nola was the oldest child of Glen and Agnes James, born to them November 10, 1934 in Lowry City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, E Ray Sell, and both parents. Nola was a charter member of the Johnson County Christian Church in Overland Park, Kansas, currently known as Legacy Christian Church where she actively served the Lord for many years. Also during her life, Nola worked outside of the home in various clerical and bookkeeping positions. Nola, "Mo," was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Her strong spirit and strength will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be 10 am, Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Legacy Christian Church with a visitation prior from 9-10 am, 10150 Antioch Road, Overland Park, Kansas. Burial will be 3 pm, Friday, at the Tebo Cemetery in Leesville, Missouri. Arrangements by D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel, 8201 Metcalf Avenue Overland Park, KS 66204, (913) 648-6224.
