=========================DALE CARPENTER, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma was born January 15, 1909 in Denver, Arkansas, a son of Wyley T. and Clara (Collins) Carpenter. He died Sunday, June 15, 2003 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 94.
Mr. Carpenter was a Member of the Assembly of God Church in Green Forest and a carpenter.On October 13, 1928 he was united in marriage with Reba (Robertson) Carpenter who survives him. He is also survived by three sons, Jimmy Rue Carpenter of Venice, Florida, Tommy Hue Carpenter of Rogers, Arkansas and Timothy Que Carpenter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a daughter, Mary Lou Mattox of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and a grandson.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 19, 2003 at the Assembly of God Church in Green Forest with Rev. Mark Bryant and Rev. Bill Burris officiating. Interment followed in the Denver Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

Death: Jul. 18, 2010 Green Forest, Carroll County, Arkansas, USAReba Rea Robertson Carpenter was born January 3, 1913 to Fred and Essie Robertson. On July 13, 2010 she moved to Heaven at the age of 97 years 6 months and 10 days.
She married Dale Carpenter October 13, 1928 and they were married for over 74 years until his decease June 15, 2003.
She is survived by one daughter Mary Lou Mattox and husband Gerald of Tulsa, OK; three sons, Jim and wife Kathryn of Venice, FL, Tommy of Rogers, AR and Tim and wife Tina of Tulsa, OK; one grandson, Roger Mattox of Highlands Ranch, CO; seven granddaughters, Pam Miller of Tulsa, OK, Debbie Powell of Greer, SC, Sherry Fenderson of Venice, FL, Renee Houde of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, Tonya Carpenter of Rogers, AR, Sheila Baldwin of Springfield, MO, Alicia Breithaupt of Springfield, MO; eight great-grandchildren, Anthony Miller of Tulsa, OK, Leah Powell of Greer, SC, Nicholas Miller of Jersey City, NJ, Isaac Dubois of Grand Junction, CO, Lana Powell of Greer, SC, Sydnee Baldwin of Springfield, MO, Emily Baldwin of Springfield, MO, Andrea Houde of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada; one great-great-grandson, Maceo Miller of Tulsa, OK.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Eddie Carpenter; one sister, Maggie King; two brothers, Rex Robertson and Jack Robertson.
Reba lived most of her life in the Denver and Green Forest, AR area except for a short time in southern California in 1950 and seven years during the 1950s in Tulsa, OK and the past almost nine years in Tulsa. She gave her heart to the Lord in the late 1930s and lived a devoted Christian life until the Lord called her home. She was a member of Green Forest Assembly of God. She loved her Lord and her family. She prayed so much for each one and kept in close contact with them. She loved her home and always had something ready to serve when any of her family came home. She loved flowers and had a beautiful flower garden as long as she was able to care for them.
But now we praise the Lord that she is enjoying the beauties of Heaven.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Nelson's Green Forest Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Green Forest Assembly of God Church with Reverend Bill Burris and Reverend Mark Bryant officiating.
