Annie Peters
RINGGOLD - Annie Carpenter Peters died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at herhome. She was 88.
Mrs. Peters was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and a member of OldParker's Gap Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her seven brothers and sisters: Bertieholcomb; Josie Babb; Edward Carpenter; Arlie Carpenter; CharlesCarpenter; Jack Carpenter; and Ruby Harrington.
Survivers include her husband, Arthur peters; two daughter, christineTeems, both of Ringgold, and Loretta Turner, Ooltewah, Tenn.; onebrother, Felton Carpenter, Tunnel Hill, Ga.; one sister, Bertha MaeLovelady, Rock Spring, Ga.; five grandchildren; eightgreat-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wallis-Stewart Funeral Homewith the Rev. Danny Henson officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
