Georgia A. Carpenter

Funeral services for Georgia A. Carpenter, 70, of Tulsa, OK and formerly of Denver, were held on Saturday 10 a.m. at the Nelson Chapel in Green Forest, Arkansas with the Rev. Clyde Spurgin officiating. Interment was at the Denver Cemetery under the direction of the Nelson Funeral Service.

Georgia A. Carpenter was born February 23, 1903 in Carroll County, Arkansas, a daughter of William J. and Sara (Windham) Cross. She departed this life on September 20, at Tulsa, OK.

She professed her hope in Christ and was a member of the Denver Rock Church. She was united in marriage with Fred Carpenter in 1921, her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include two brothers, John C. Cross of Tulsa, OK and Bernard C. Cross of Collinsville, OK; two sisters, Bertie Fike of Moses Lake, WA, and Bernice Potter, of Tulsa , OK; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
