OBIT: Theodore H. Carpenter
Carpenter, Theodore H., age 72, of Sunrise, FL. passed away on March 1, 2005. A veteran of the Korean Conflict; he received the Korean Service Ribbon with 1 Bronze Service Star, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Medal and the Combat Infantry Badge. A 30 year member of the ROE Fulkerson Masonic Lodge #299 F. & A.M., Past Worshipful Master, 1979; past District Deputy Grand Master for the 27th. Masonic District in 1984; past P.E. & C. Zone and State Chairman, 1990 and Grand Sword Bearer in 1993 for the Grand Lodge of Florida. Mr. Carpenter was a Ham radio operator with the call letters KS4WQ and he worked for Beacon/ITV for many years. He is survived by his two sisters, Dorothy Gresham and Helen Sutton and their children. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home conducted by the ROE Fulkerson Masonic Lodge #299. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Shriners Hospital c/o Mahi Temple, 1480 NW North River Drive, Miami, FL 33135 in his memory.
