He was preceeded in death by a brother and a sister." (no names were given.)

They had no children of their own, but they raised a little girl. She was the dau of Eleanor's sister and was adopted by Arthur and Eleanor. when she was about 2 yrs. old. Her mother, Lillian, had died. Arthur died at age 81 according to letter from Nancy Grant of Pentwater, MI in Dec. 1999.
