32127. Clarence Calloway Carpenter
"... Uncle Clarence probably has the largest number of descendants living since his son, Rayford, Ancel's father, married several times and had at least 11 children, of whom Ancel is the second oldest."
Clarence Calloway ranched on part of Frank and Emily's ranch north west of Deming, sold that, moved to El Paso and then to AR, where I think he died.

Alva inherited the farmhouse his parents lived in near Anthony along with partt of the farm. My brother and I along with most of our first cousins, were born in that house, and I always reminded my cousins who remained in NM that the farm is on the east bank of the Rio Grande, therefore within the bounds of the Republic of Texas. He sold it when I was almost a year old and we moved to Texas. My brother and I both live in Ft Stockton TX where
Daddy is buried.
