This “enhanced” book version of the 1901 Carpenter Family in Ameria has a few hand written corrections and typo corrections. Hand written and typed supplemental data are also given.
Handwritten numbers represent record information numbers (RINs) near the names or heads of family. These RINs are in the Carpenter Cousins Project genealogical database and used in the Carpenter Cousins Y-DNA (surname) Project as individual identifiers (aka C# ) in various online genealogical reports lineage tables and web pages.

The Carpenter Cousins Project has identified over 30,000 Carpenter Cousins descendants from the 1635 emigrant William Carpenter and his father Richard Carpenter who died in England as of August 2026.
The Carpenter Cousins Y-DNA Project has Y-DNA tested about 55 male Carpenter descendants from this Providence, Rhode Island Carpenter line with various Y-DNA kits up to 111 markers. Some have upgraded their kits to include Haplogroup testing for a better genetic ancestral history. This Carpenter Cousins surname project is referenced as Group 2 – The Providende, RI Carpenters.
