Shirley Robinson is referenced in your correspondence 4/18/2019 -attachment 2.pdf (modified Register- William Carpenter 203369) page 11
Ref Copy of a letter dated 25 March 1952.
To: Mrs. A. M. Robinson
501 Durham Street
Bastrop, Louisiana
This letter is in reference to her "questionnaire of 14 February 1952 ..." (regarding Berry Carpenter)
The Shirley Robinson referenced above is depicted in the FAG link below.

Also see Carpenter – Bastrop Find person –> Shirley Montgomery
Appears shirley Montgomery Robinson & Grace Callier are 1st cousins.
I now vaguely recall that Mrs. Robinson’s daughter, Andre, supplied Phil Carpenter and I with a box of her Mother’s genealogical records that was stored in her attic. --which we returned after I compiled the family tree records.
Mrs. Robinson’s letter of inquiry requiring Berry Carpenter was (1952) --67 years ago!
My conjecture is that Grace Callier (possible joint effort?) probably copied/compiled the research actually performed by Mrs. Robinson and that one or both of them in turn copied the erroneous ancestral lineage of Thomas Jack Carpenter of Botetourt, VA.
I am waiting to get the DAR records of Grace Callier to determine what ancestral lineage her membership is based on.
