2. Arthur John CARPENTER,(*1,2) son of William James CARPENTER and Sarah Anne MARSHALL, was born on 16 October 1921 in Horningsham, Wilts.(*1) In 1947 he was resident in The Round House, Horningsham, Wiltshire. He married Mary Alice GEORGE on 26 July 1947 in Much Dewchurch, Herefordshire.(*2,3) In 1950 he was resident in No.27, Newbury, Horningsham, Wiltshire. In 1957 he was resident in The Cottage, Much Dewchurch, Herefordshire. In 1961 he was resident in Charfield, Gloucestershire, England. He died on 6 August 2012 in Wickwar Nursing Home, South Gloucestershire.
