In Reply to: Re: Carpenter male DNA testing - UPDATE (Y-DNA) & CE CD 2001 UPDATE by John R. Carpenter of 8865Could this Walter Wright Carpenter be an ancestor of my grandfather, also named Walter Wright Carpenter ???
The senior Walter Wright must be a brother to the head of houshold, as he is the same gen.
Here's what I know about the junior Walter Wright. His siblings were Minerva M, Elizabeth A, Silas Austin, W Irving, Benjamin C, and William K, all of NJ and NY.
His 1st wife is a mystery, but he had a son, Harold A.
He served in the Red Cross in WW1 and returned with nurse Helene Antoinette Lucrese Risso, who became his 2nd wife. They had 4 children, the firstborn being Pierre Risso, my father.
Endless thanks in advance for any hints you can supply.
