Roane County (then VA) Mary Nicholas (daughter of James and Sarah (Unknown)
Nicholas) and 2nd 3 July 1866 in Roane County (then WV) Charlotte Starcher
(daughter of Isaac and Mary (Tanner) Starcher) and resided in Roane County
in 1870 and 1880. The Jesse Carpenter (his father?) found in the
Braxton County Census of 1850 cannot be the same Jesse Carpenter
(his uncle) who appears in the Jackson County census of 1850!
Isaac (19) Carpenter was born about 1867.
Maybe the following person?
I am looking for any information on Isaac B. Carpenter born Sept. 12, 1867 and died Jan. 9, 1900. He is buried at Fry Hill Cemetary in Lucas Co. IA. His Wife's name was Sarah. Any information would be helpful, children, ect.

She married a Rudd, but she is buried in the Cockerham cemetery?
COMMENT:
She may have married a Rudd but I have not found any evidence. Also, I noted your comments on a Carpenter buried in Cockerham Cemetery. Maybe she was a Cockerham instead of a Carpenter that married a Rudd? I am not sure where Joshua Johnson got the information for the Find A Grave record in the Cockerham Cemetery. I know that the information provided that Peter C was a half sibling is not correct. He was her full sibling. Elizabeth is in her father's household in 1860 and 1870 but I haven't located a 1880 Census for Solomon or Elizabeth. I think this might require more research and it would help tremendously to find the 1880 Census records!
