Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Riverside Methodist church for Mrs. G. O. Yoder, who died Saturday at her home in Riverside.
The service was conducted by the Rev. Floyd Cydrus and burial was made in the Riverside cemetery. The Precht Funeral Home of Omak was in charge of arrangements.
The Riverside high school Senior girls sang two numbers and George Johnson of Okanogan sang a solo. Serving as pall bearers were Albert Mitchell, Kenneth Dick, B .E. Gregory, Chas. Bertram, Clayton Dick, and C. F. Kroneman.
Allee Sylvanus Carpenter was born in Miller county, Missouri, April 14, 1892. She was married to Glenn O. Yoder, December 14, 1912, and to this union six children were born. In April, 1920, the family moved to Washington, residing at Conconully until 1921, when hey moved their ranch near Riverside. She was a member of the Methodist church in Riverside.
She is survived by her husband and six children, Carl A. Yoder of Bremerton; Von R., with the Armed Forces in Germany; Mrs. John M. Roberts of Caldwell, Idaho; Mrs. M. Relton Carpente of Riverside, and Ena Mae and Joseph in the home. She also and leaves one brother, C. A. Carpenter of Salem, Oregon, and one sister, Mrs. William Luther of Rich Hill, Mo.; also seven grandchildren.

GLEN YODER REUNION
A reunion of the descendants of Glen Yoder was held in Conconully, Washington, the community that Glen and his family first settled in when they moved to Washington state from Missouri, on July 24, 25, and 26, 1992. Attending were: Von and Marge Yoder, Joseph and Florence Yoder from Tigard, Oregon; Grace, Yoder, and John Robert from Newberg, Oregon; Irma, Yoder, and Relton Carpenter from Omak, Washington; Ena, Yoder, and Orville Barnes from Stanwood, Washington; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren of Glen and Allie Yoder. Also attending were descendants of Clarence Yoder, John and Frances Yoder, Ruth, Yoder, and Earl Courtney from Holden, Missouri and Lois, Yoder, Wilson from Marshal, Missouri. The event allowed time to get acquainted and reacquainted with family and friends. Potluck picnic dinners were hosted on Friday and Saturday nights by Joe and Florence Yoder and Von and Marge Yoder. On Sunday morning some of the more adventurous hiked to the top of a small mountain before Sunday Morning Church services in Conconully United Methodist Church. RIVERSIDE - Funeral services for Glenn O. Yoder, 77, who died at the Omak hospital Sunday evening were held at the Riverside Methodist church Tuesday. Burial was in the Riverside cemetery. The Rev. Paul Ashbrook officiated.
Yoder was born at East Lynn, Mo., December 17, 1888, and came to Okanogan county in 1920. He had married Ellie Carpenter in Missouri in 1912. She died in 1945.
In 1949 he married Ethel Troth at Tucumarie, N.Mex. He had studied agriculture at the University of Missouri at Columbia.
Yoder came to Conconully with his family in 1920 and the following year they settled on a farm near Riverside, developing it into a dairy which still is operated by his son Carl as Yoder dairy.
In 1953 he retired and moved to Conconully, where he had lived since. He was an active member of the Mt. Olive Grange of Riverside and of the Riverside Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel of Conconully; three sons, Carl of Riverside, Joe of Portland and Sr. M/Sgt. Von Yoder of the armed forces in England; three daughters, Grace Roberts of Greenleaf, Idaho, Irma Carpenter of Riverside and Ena St. Peters of Seattle; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence and Harold; and a sister, Effie Snare, all of Missouri.
The Precht Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

John, I received a copy of the Zenith Alvis Carpenter family papers also. There is a good chance that he is the son of William Russell Carpenter and Mary Angelina Alvis. William being a son of Zenith and Cynthia Hendricks Carpenter. I am in contact with a family member and soon hope for confirmation. It all appears logical, but proof needed. Mary Angelina was a daughter of Thomas H. Alvis, Sr. and and Mary Elizabeth Moore. Angelina and her husband William Russell Carpenter are buried in the McComas Cem., Platte Co., MO where Zenith and Cynthia lived after Hardin Co., TN.
