Sands Street Methodist Episcopal Church. His health failing in 1839 he
purchased a farm at Plattekill, Ulster county and removed there. After the
death of his wife Mary in 1859, he sold his farm and removed to Newburgh,
whrere he engaged in the grocery business.
She was sister to David Coope, a well known crockery merchant of Fulton
Street, Brooklyn.

where he he lived for the last thirty years. During most of his early life
he lived in Platekill, NY. He leaves a widow and two brothers. The funeral
will be held at 8 o'clock this evening at the house. The burial will be at New
Hurley, at the convience of the family. Dated 12 April 1898.
