Subject: Joseph Carpenter of New York and West Virginia
Dear Mr. Carpenter
My name is Jacob Carpenter. I am a twenty-seven-year-old resident of Cleveland, Tennessee. You were acquainted with Granddad, the late Richard Llewellyn Carpenter (wife Mary Frances White) of West Virginia and our home town. I emailed about removing [Captain] Nathaniel and Tamar (Coles) Carpenter from Joseph Carpenter (wife Leah) of New York and West Virginia. We discussed this quandary briefly, the ultimate decision being me looking over Grandfather's notes and contrasting his data and your own.
Due to physical disabilities, I could and still can't sort through the entirety of materials Grandpa Carpenter left behind. Grandma's people are similar, though a controversial ancestress's records were gathered up by me. That being irrelevant, I skimmed over handwritten notes on Joseph. As mentioned in you and I's last exchanges, Granddad dismissed the unproved suggestion that documentation linked our ancestor to [Reverend] William Carpenter, Senior (wife Elizabeth Arnold) of England and Rhode Island via Nathaniel.
Believe it or not, we have actually met! Grandfather brought me along to the Carpenter Cousins Conference of 2003. Paul Mowrey (wife Lola) gave his personal compilation to me as a gift. My older brother Joshua destroyed it through carelessness. I remember taking the book to London, England when him, Daddy and Momma, and myself traveled there with the high school band (Joshua, percussionist) and choir (me, reluctant tenor and open sopranist). We failed miserably in pursuit of locating the royal origins which got obliterated.
While I still conduct genealogical endeavors from home, attentions shifted towards my mother's side. She and her younger sister are from Macon, Georgia. Their ancestry is concentrated in the southern United States and Maryland. Y-D. N. A. was gathered by way of the only living male in my maternal granddad's father to son line, albeit it barely helped. Nonetheless, I'm hoping another Carpenter cousin will take up Grandpa's work. Who that might be, I don't know. The Conference's contact directory transcribed his unchanged stance.
Mr. Carpenter, I do hope you could send me the information about your last messages to my grandfather! They would be insightful examinations, given his pursuit of proven connections which I share. If you cannot, sir, I respectfully understand. Agreeing, agreeing to disagree, et cetera, which Maryland resident Terry Carpenter warmly told Father (Douglas Eric Carpenter).
Yours sincerely,
Jacob Carpenter (423) 715-5501 jacobcarpenter1@outlook.com
