BIRTH:
Harry Watt Carpenter, Jr. was born 11 December 1927 in Geneva, New York. He was the son of Harry Watt Carpenter, Sr. and his wife Laura V. Olschewske of Geneva, New York. In the 1930 census of Geneva City Harry, Jr. was just two years and four months old and was living with his parents in the home of his mother's parents at 19 West Street in Geneva. Harry, Jr. grew up in Geneva attending local schools.
MILITARY:
After his Junior year of High School, Harry, Jr. enlisted on 20 November 1945 in the U.S. Army as a private in the Infantry. He was to be stationed in the Panama Canal Department. The details of his military service are unknown.
MARRIAGE1:
Harry, Jr. Married first on 25 March 1950 in Rochester, New York, Elsie Ann Whitaker, born 12 December 1926 in Milo, Yates County, New York. She was the daughter of Harold Firman Whitaker and Mildred F. Kinne. To them were born, all at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester: David Watt Carpenter, born 28 April 1951; Robert Whitaker Carpenter, born 19 August 1952; and  Katherine (Kitty) Carpenter, born 25 January 1958. At some point in time, perhaps 1958, or so, Harry, Jr. took his family to Southern California, where he may have been employed as a tool engineer, or salesman, possibly with Hughes Aircraft in Los Angeles. For whatever reasons, Harry, Jr. and Elsie's marriage fell apart.Elsie took her family in 1963 back to live in Penn Yan, New York, where she eventually married a old High School Sweetheart named Harold J. Youngs, whom she had known prior to meeting Harry, Jr. Eventually Elsie and Harold married and had a daughter named Debbie Diane Youngs. Harold and Elsie took their family to live in Miami, Florida, where Debbie was born 19 August 1956.
MARRIAGE2:
Meanwhile, back in California Harry,Jr. met and married Patricia Louise Case, born 28 November1941. They removed to Houston, Texas where Harry, Jr. was employed by Hughes Tools.
DEATH:
It was there that Harry, Jr. met an untimely death in an automobile accident at age 41, which occurred on 7 August 1969. Harry and Patricia had one son, Harry Watt Carpenter, III born 15 October 1965 in California.
BURIAL:
Harry was buried on 9 August 1969 at Maple Grove Cemetery, in Waterloo, New York.
SPOUSE2:
Patricia remarried on 12 February 1973 with Richard Lockman in Riverside, California. They make their home in Southern California.  He was born on 11 Dec 1927 (Same date & place as Harry?)  at Geneva, Ontario, New York, USA.  He married Elsie Ann WHITAKER (1213), daughter of Harold Firman WHITAKER (1214) and Mildred F. KINNE (1215), on 25 Mar 1950 at Binghamton, New York, USA.  He married Patricia Louise CASE (1211) circa 1963 at Encino, California, USA.  He died on 7 Aug 1969 at Automobile accident, Houston, Harris, Texas, USA, at age 41.  He was buried on 9 Aug 1969 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Watterloo, New York, USA.
