Per the Carpenter Memorial on page 62 under number 90: John Bedell married an
Elizabeth Carpenter. (HOWEVER that information is almost 100 years to
early for that family! MAYBE it fits here!)
"They had a daughter Sarah (Bedell) who m. Peter Cooper." Peter Cooper was born
12 Feb 1791, NY and married Miss Sarah Bedell of Hempstead, LI, Dec. 1813.
She died in 1869. Is this the right father and mother?

Prof J. E. Todd, of Tabor College

Carpenter, 1901. Family on page 261.NOTE: While Ezra is not listed with the Carpenters of Clara Cemetery, many of his family are. Being a family cemetery, it is highly likely that that the Carpenter (see below) are related. I also reference Find A Grave when found also.
While not proven, Ezra & Joseph were probably sons of Joseph Carpenter. All that said, take it with a grain of salt. JRC Yep, theory disproven! Ancestry found! Father is Isaac Carpenter.ANCESTRY: No source citations have been added yet for this Ancestry family. Ezra b. abt 1800 NY of Westchester County, NY. See:
