Pat wrote for the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, Inc. journal, MASSOG, in 2019 about Jeff's great grandfather, Charles Edwin Carpenter, b.1840 RI, d.1929 MA. The article is entitled, "Charles Edwin Carpenter of Attleborough, Massachusetts, Buys a Cemetery Lot." In the article it mentions the Carpenter farm, Just a Mere Farm, which was in the Carpenter Family for close to 200 years. Unfortunately, the farm which was in existence for 261 years no longer exists. However, in 1921 a field that was part of the farm became the North Purchase Cemetery.PRI:
