Robert James Bost (1952–2017)Known as Evelyn to some, but Nana by most. She endeared herself to family and friends with her spontaneous humor and quick wit. Nana always had a sweet smile and a twinkle in her eye. Family was everything to her, and she relished in creating lasting memories.
She enjoyed frequent trips to the beach and Disney World, but her favorite was visiting the mountains in Fall to savor the season unfolding. Nana showed her love to many by cooking and feeding them. She delighted in gardening, solving puzzles and watching game shows like Wheel of Fortune. Nana's love was everlasting and will forever live on in our hearts.

Esther Thompson 75, of Albemarle, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Bethany Woods.Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Rehobeth Methodist Church. Rev. Ron Dry will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 Wednesday at the church.
Esther was born in Albemarle on August 27, 1937 to the late Thomas Jefferson and Bessie Carpenter Thompson.
She was a retiree of Britthaven of Piedmont and a member of Rehobeth Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son James Thompson of Albemarle.
Her son wishes to express his thanks to the staff of Woodhaven, Bethany Woods and Hospice for their loving care of his mother.
