There was only one Edmund Worth in NEPA during the 1850 census. He was living in Greenfield, and the census data indicate that he was born about 1810. But the tingley data indicates that this Edmund was born in 1828. It is possible that the census Edmund is the same Edmund as this one, BUT the mismatching dates must be figured out.
History of Lackawanna County, p.452F: Edmund Worth, farmer, was born in New Hampshire, April 13th, 1807, and came to Greenfield in 1821. He married Susanna Doud, of Susquehanna county, PA. For a number of years he was first sergeant in the Benton military organization.
The birthdate of 1807 would make his mother only 14 when he was born. The birthdate of 1810 would make his mother a more reasonable 17.
The Tingley book lists this Edmund Worth as being born in 1828 at Ararat, PA, and having married Eunice, and having the following children: Nancy Anna, James, Joel, Mary, Louise Lucinda, Lester, Elizabeth.

Simeon M. Carpenter was born at Hartford, Susquehanna county, Pa.,
on May 31, 1831, at which place he spent his boyhood days. In early
manhood he commenced railroading with the D. & H., continuing to
work for the company 22 years. At the close of his long service in
railroading, he bought a farm in Canaan township, on which he lived
thirteen years. Then he purchased of Fitz Henry Stanton a larger
farm, the one on which his son William now lives and where his home was until the close of his life. Mr. Carpenter was married to Miss Catherine M. Buckland in 1859 but the happy marriage was broken by her death in 1899. Four children were born to them, two of whom died in infancy. A few weeks before his death, Mr. Carpenter went to Winwood to visit his only daughter, Mrs. Kellogg, where he was taken ill with what proved to be his final sickness. His son William went and remained with him almost all the time of his illness and son, daughter and husband, physician and nurse ministered to him by day and night, leaving nothing undone that they could do. About 13 years before the close of Mr. Carpenter's life he professed to have experienced a change of heart and life, and was baptised by Rev. Mr. Levisie, pastor of the Aldenville Clinton Center and South Clinton churches. A large number attended his funeral, Rev. James Rainey and Rev. Davis officiating.1870 census of Wayne County, Clinton Twp. page 77b Waymart
