Reference numbers RIN 70941 and RIN 51197. Which one has the correct dates? Which one served from WI in the Civil War?  Or did both?

Bio:
In 1851 Loren Carpenter built a sash and blind factory on the Cowanesque road between Academy Corners and Knoxville. This he operated until 1863. From 1862 to 1870 he was also engaged in the manufacture of brick, burning one or two kilns a year.

From Tioga County History 1897, one of the oldest burial places, excepting, of course, the Indian burials., is the oldest cemetery on the Loren CARPENTER Farm about half mile east of Academy Corners. Called Carpenter Cemetery or Academy Corners Cemetery.
The first interment was said to be a member of the surveying party, marked C. C. J. 1800.
William KNOX, the township Pioneer lies in an unmarked grave. Here, also are buried members of CLOOS, BULKLEY, SHORT, WRIGHT, FAULKNER, HOWLAND, INGHAM and other early families.

LORENTES CARPENTER, eldest son of Lyman and Almira Carpenter, was born in Deerfield township, Tioga county, April 4, 1822. He was reared on the homestead, and during the sixties located on the farm now the home of his son, Willard S., where he resided six years. He then purchased the Carpenter homestead, and lived there until his death, October 7, 1893. He married Lois Seelye, a daughter of Elanson and Mercy (Howland) Seelye, May 14, 1846. On the paternal side, she was a grand-daughter of Ebenezer and Mahetabel (Todd) Seelye, and on the maternal side, of John and Lois (Eddy) Howland, all pioneers of Tioga county. She bore him the following children: Mercy S., deceased; Willard S., A. Delphine, who married Ephraim Shaut; Della, (Susan Adelsea, 1852-1925) who married Grant Seely; Hattie, (Mary Bell) Belle, widow of C. Ellsworth Clark; Clara, deceased wife of John Northrop; Frank, and Frances, twins. Frank married Mamie Harrison, and Frances is dead. Mr. Carpenter was a member of the Free Will Baptist church, and in politics, a Democrat. His widow lives on the old homestead.

Mrs. Lois Seely Carpenter, widow of the late Loren Carpenter, of Deerfield, died February 11, at the home of her son, W. S. Carpenter, in Deerfield. She was born Oct 11, 1823 on the farm now owned by the heirs of the late A. D. Taft of Deerfield, the daughter of Elanson and Mercy Seely and was one of a large family of children. Only one of her brothers and sisters survives her, Malvin Seely, who resides in the West. Mrs Carpenter grew to womanhood on the farm where she was born and on May 14, 1846, was married to Loren Carpenter. She is survived by 6 children--Willard S. Carpenter of Deerfield; Delphine, wife of Ephriam Shaut of Addison, NY; Della, wife of Grant Seely of Osceola; Miss Hattie Carpenter who resides on the homestead in Deerfield; Mrs Belle Frame, who owns the homestead and Frank Carpenter of Addison, NY

Miss Hattie Carpenter died Thursday afternoon, about 8 o'clock.  She spent her entire life at the home where she died at the age of 64 years.  She was one of a family of nine children, four of whom are living – Mrs. Grant Seely, of Osceola; Mrs. Shant and Frank Carpenter, of Osceola and Mrs. Bell Clark, of this place.  She was a member of the Baptist church of Knoxville.  Funeral services were held at her late home Sunday at 3 o'clock, Rev. Mr. Barrow of Knoxville officiating; interment in the Carpenter cemetery

Little Marsh, Dec. 4.—Mr. C. A. Carpenter. aged 76 years, who has been In very poor health for More than a year, died at his home Saturday afternoon. Mr. Carpenter spent nearly all his life in Chatham. the first wife was Miss Sarah Cloos, who died 16 years ago. To this union there were born six children, who survive him—Mr. Everett Carpenter. of this place: Mr. B. D. Carpenter, of Welleboro. Mr. C. V. Carpenter, of Little Marsh. R. 1). 2: Mr. E. Carpenter, of Mansfield; Mr. P, T. Carpenter, of Highland, N. .1., and Mrs. Lena Southworth, of Chatham. The funeral will take place at the M. E. church at 1 o'clock p. m. to-day, Rev. Mr. Bass. yr Keene) rifle, officiating: burial in Keeneyville cemetery. beside his wife.
