name as "MARGARET ELLETTE" and one record says she was married at Buffalo, N.Y.
Spelling of her third child may be incorrect as record was difficult to read.

fathe's will dated 28 March 1892. She was 66 years, 28 days old when she died
per her tombstone. Please note a two year age discrepancy.

Classification: ObituaryCommittal services for Mrs. Janie Carpenter Cadwell, 84, of the Cadwell Farm, Dewittville, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dewittville Cemetery. Rev. Wayne B. Ostrander, pastor of Dewittville EUB Church will officiate.
Mrs. Cadwell died in the Wilhelm Nursing Home, Sarasota, Fla., Tuesday, April 9, 1963. She had been in failing health since January and was admitted to the nursing home March 9.
The Cadwell family is well known to hundreds of people in this area who have visited the Cheese House at the family farm. Mrs. Cadwell and her husband, Ward Cadwell, who died in 1947, formerly were active in the farm's operation.
Mrs. Cadwell was born in Maple Springs, Jan 13, 1879, a daughter of Orlando and Fannie Carpenter and was a lifelong resident of the area. She had wintered in Sarasota for the past 30 years. A charming hostess, Mrs. Cadwell was a woman of lovely character, domestic in her tastes and endowed with a keen sense of humor and cheerfulness.
A son, Ford Cadwell, Dewittville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Jane Morell, Niagara Falls; a sister, Mrs. Elton Hunt, Jamestown, and several nieces and nephews survive. Besides her husband and parents Mrs. Cadwell was preceded in death by two sister, Lelia Townsend and Belle Furlow.
Many area residents wintering in Sarasota attended funeral services there Saturday in Roberts Funeral Home. Rev. J. Moody McNair, pastor of Sarasota Presbyterian Church, officiated.
