Vernita was in the possesion of Josiah Carpenter's (17) Bible which contains
vital Carpenter Data.

She married second, Irvin Green.


44203. Albert Jones

Albert married a Helen ? and had children.


44204. Irene Jones

Irene married and had two daughters.


44205. Morris Jones

Morris married and raised a family.


Ernest Taylor

Myra and Lewis lived at Ashville, then Blockville, where they purchased and
restored the old homestead of her grandfather, Francis Carpenter.  After
Ernest's death, Myra removed to the Presbyterian Retirement Home in Jamestown.
She was a member of the Blockville Methodist Church.


35576. Maude Leona Jones

Maude and her husband Bill Powell settled at Wilkinsburg, PA, where he
established and operated the first automotive repair shop located on Rebecca
Ave.  Later, they returned to Jamestown, NY where Bill continued in the same
business.  He became an expert bowler on the green and won numerous awards.
Later, they moved to Los Angeles with their two daughters and their families.
After retirement, they settled in a Seal Beach, CA retirement community where
they were given a 60th wedding anniversary party by their grandson "Billy" and
granddaughter, Leona Mae.

Buried in grave 35, division 1, special range 4, with no marker.


35577. Dura Woodford Jones Sr.

Dura, Senior served over seas in World War One in the Meterological Section
of the U.S. Army.  Dura was an electrician by trade and employed by Duquesne
Light and Power Co., Pittsburgh.  Family members were communicants of the
United Brethern Church in Wilkinsburg.  In 1943, Dura was commander of Licoln
Commandry, Knights Templar #91 of Wilkinsburg.


35578. Dr. George A. Ray "Ray Barker" Carpenter Dds

Number 1158-6 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
Although christianed George, as recorded in his father's Bible, he was raised
as "RAY BARKER" by his mother.  Bible indicates "Ray" was born at 7:30PM and
weighed nine pounds.  Ray and his wife Evelyn were residing in 1970 in Sun
Valley, Twenty Nine Palms, CA.  He was a dentist by profession and served in
the U.S. Navy during World War Two in the Dental Corps with the rank of
Lieutenant Commander.


44214. Dorothy Addell Barker

Number 1636-7 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
Dorothy, a true blood line Carpenter, was raised as a Barker.  In 1966 she
lived in the Long Island, NY area.
She had at least three children: Prudence and two sons.


35580. Hazel Blanch Carpenter

Number 1160 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
Hazel was born at 5:00 AM and weighed 6 1/2 pounds.


35583. Wilbur Nelson Carpenter

Number 1163-6 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
Wilbur weighed in at 8 pounds at birth.  In 1966 there was no stone at his
gravesite.  Marie resided at Yeadon, PA after his death.


44218. Donna Marie Carpenter

Number 1640-7 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
In 1966, Donna was unmarried and her address was in care of The Elwyn Training
School in Media, PA.


35584. Helen Gertrude Carpenter

Number 1164 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
In 1967, Helen and Melvin were living in Shippensburg, PA where Melvin was an
associate professor in the Department of Education at Shippensburg State
College.  He became college registar.  Helen was born at 1:55 AM and weighed 9
pounds.

Number 1165-6 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
Vivian was an adopted son.  Anna and the grown children were living in the
Buffalo area in 1964.

NAME: Name legally changed to James Brewster Carpenter.
Fitzgerald birth name?

MILITARY: US Army corpman

Patricia married and settled in the vincinity of Buffalo.

Number 1647-7 in the Timothy Carpenter book.
No Issue.  In 1966, Leeland and Alice were residing at Tonawanda, NY.  Leeland
was in the Maritime trade.


44226. Richard Carpenter

Number 1648 in the Timothy Carpenter book. Did not die as an infant  He was of the second wife.
NAME: Went by Richard Ray Carpenter.  Lived at King St. Honolulu, HI.
Served in the Marines. Never married, no children.
