She graduated from Oberlin College in 1926.

Oliver graduated from Oberlin College in 1914. He was commissioned a
Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army on August 17, 1917 at Camp Benjamin
Harrison, Indiana. He was promoted to First Lieutenant on August 20,
1918 at Camp Grant, Illinois. He later became a Battalion Adjutant at
Camp Lewis, Washington. He also served in World War II as a Major in
the U.S. Army.
Jim graduated from Sandwich High School in 1911 and from Oberlin
College in 1916. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on June 1, 1918 and
served out the war as a Lieutenant. During World War II he was again
in the Navy attaining the rank of Commander. He served as a doctor on
an attack transport in the South Pacific. After World War II he
returned to his practice as a Pediatrician in Oak Park, Illinois.
He was very close to my parents and we always referred to him as
Uncle Jim. He was our Pediatrician and my brother James Wallace
Mosher is named for him.
Robert A. Wallace and Margaret Lewis met each other when they were
only about five or six in Sandwich, Illinois where Margaret's family
often visited from Oak Park, Illinois. They both attended Oberlin
College in Oberlin, Ohio and Robert then graduated from the Art
Institute in Chicago. His first job, designing store fronts, led him
to the Libbey-Owens-Ford Class Company and he continued in the glass
business all his life. He was a talented artist and both he and
Margaret were talented pianists. They lived in Oak Park, Illinois,
New York City, Toledo, Ohio, Dallas, Texas and finally Houston, Texas.

"SONSHINE" (AGE 69)On September 29, 2015, in Gaithersburg, MD, Suzy passed away from a very short battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her brother John Carpenter of The Villages, Florida and her sister Carol Christopher of San Jose, California and many friends.
She was born on May 27, 1946 in Corning, New York. She was two when her parents moved to Cabin John and then Kensington, MD. She graduated from Albert Einstein High School in 1964 and earned an Associates in Arts Degree from Montgomery Junior College in Rockville, MD. Suzy was married to Richard Misfeldt from 1966-1973. She worked at NIH until she retired in 2004.
Suzy "Sonshine" lived her life for Jesus and was "Sonshine" to everyone she could find. She cared about everyone she talked to. She started attending church 1976. She worked with the teens, the singles and finally with the senior adults. Suzy was still planning activities until she got sick.
There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. on October 17, 2015 at Gaithersburg Church of the Nazarene, 8921 Warfield Rd., Gaithersburg, MD 20885.

AVON - Ruth S. Kramer, 96, Avon, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at Avon Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 17, 1912, in Avon, the daughter of Don and Inez Carpenter Speer. She married John P. Kramer on Nov. 15, 1945, in Galesburg. He preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1994.
She is survived by two sons, Bill (Elaine) Kramer of Avon and Phil (Jean) Kramer of Avon; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter-in-law Diane Kramer.
Ruth was born and raised in rural Avon. She lived her entire life in the Avon area. She graduated from Avon High School in 1930, attended Knox College and graduated from Western Illinois Teachers College. She taught school at Pleasant Hill School in rural Avon and later worked at Tompkins State Bank. She was a homemaker for the majority of her life. She loved to garden. She was a member of the Hypatian Club, the Warren County Homemakers, Avon United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Greenbush Card Club.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Avon United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Trish Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Bond Cemetery, Greenbush. Pallbearers will be grandchildren Trent, Jamie, John, Jeff, Steve and Matt. Family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. until the service at Avon United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to A.V.C.O.M. Park or Avon United Methodist Church. Corman Memorial Home, Avon, is in charge of arrangements.
