DONALD G. SCHEEDER
Donald G. Scheeder, 77, of Delaware died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, at Grady
Memorial Hospital.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving from 1943 to 1946
as a B-29 crew member. A former PPG truck driver, he retired as a driver
for ODOT in 1991. He was a private pilot, an avid fan of auto racing, an
amateur photographer and an antique camera collector.
He was born June 9, 1925, in Huntingdon, Pa., to the late Marshal and
Helen Harbaugh Scheeder and was predeceased by a sister, Charlotte and a
daughter, Nancy.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty McNeal Scheeder; a son,
Larry (Linda) Scheeder of Delaware; a daughter, Susan (Doug) McBride of
Delaware; a grandson, Ryan; many relatives and friends; and his favorite
cat, Pedro.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Bennett Brown
Rodman Funeral Home in Delaware and burial will be at Oak Grove
Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Honorary pall bearers will be Chris Fogle, Rob Fogle, Glenn Hursey, Bill
Yoakum, Paul Yoakum and Billy Simpson.

Thomas Mason Carpenter, 29, of 34 North Franklin Ave., died Sunday night at the Stark Sanatorium after an illness of several months.
Mr. Carpenter was a veteran of W II and was born in Mount Vernon Feb. 28, 1917.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge here.
He leaves his wife Mary and a son Thomas; two daughters, Pauline and Rita Mae; six sisters, Mrs. Gale Shrimplin, Mrs. William Ridenbaugh and Mrs. Paul Rine, all of Mount Vernon, Mrs. Clarence Kinney , Mrs. Gustave Diehm, and Miss Lauredee, all of Mansfield; and one brother, Norman of Columbus.

CARPENTER Leroy L. Leroy L. Carpenter, age 64, of Toledo, died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at The Toledo Hospital. He was born January 10, 1943, in Toledo and attended Libbey High School. He enjoyed gardening and traveling and retired from Libbey Glass in 2003 after 36 years of service. Leroy was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survived by brother, Eddie Lee (Sandra) Carpenter of Florida; Godchildren, Michelle Falbo and Edana Everhardt, both of Toledo; 4 nephews, 2 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Mae Carpenter; mother, Ethel Marie (Fry) Carpenter and sister Joyce Arlene Frane.
Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood, 419-269-1111) on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. where a service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial, Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Cover Doyle Carpenter, 83, formerly of Toledo, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2006. He was born August 14, 1923. in Howard. Ohio to the late Witham and Pearl Carpenter.
Mr. Carpenter retired as a fore-man from Surface Combustion in Toledo after 40 years of employment.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the l0th Mountain Ski Trooper Division, receiving the Bronze Star for combat in the Apennine Mountains and in Italy.
Cover was a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church and the VFW, both in Grand Rapids.
Surviving are three daughters, Carla (Dennis) Snell, Toledo, Cindy (David) Skinner, Monclova, and Lisa Stoehr, Mt. Vernon; live grandchildren, Eric Snell, Kelly-Jo Cooper; Bryan and Andrea Skinner, and Eric Stoehr and great-grandchild, Jasten Cooper.
Private visitation and funeral services will be held in the Wright Funeral Home, Grand Rapids.
Military rites and burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
