AGE 77 YEARSDuane S. BARTOO, of Ulysses, PA, died Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA.
He was the son of Lawrence L. and Helen E. Ransom Bartoo.On July 25, 1958, in Ulysses, he married the former Patricia Covert, who survives.
Duane and his wife owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. He was then employed by Ulysses Woodcraft and last by Potter county human services as an ATA driver.
Duane was a member of the Bingham Center Bible Church.
Surviving besides his wife, Patricia, are: five children:
Elizabeth (Clayton Joseph) Slingerland of Ulysses,
Patsy (Thomas) Williams of West Bingham, PA,
Robert (Maureen) Bartoo of Westfield, PA,
Dee Whitney of Ulysses, and
Christopher Bartoo of Ulysses;
31 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diane (James) Low of Knoxville, PA and Debbie Bartoo of Las Vegas, NV.He was predeceased by a son, Philip R. Bartoo, on January 29, 2011.
