He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cari; daughter, Lydia; mother, Sandy Post; siblings, Mackenzie, Morgan and Tanner (Priscilla); and many nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Judy Thomson.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., Des Moines with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

Rebecca Ann Dixon, 57 of Webster City, died on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at University of Minnesota Medical Center. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Boman Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 PM. A memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 6, at 1:00 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.Bomanfh.com)  Rebecca was born on July 17, 1959, in Webster City to Arnold and Julie (Nelson) Balsley. She grew up in Webster City, attending the Webster City High School. She married Dave Koester, the couple later divorced. Rebecca married Allen Dixon in September of 1987. She was in employed at Frigidaire as security, and worked as a shipping dispatcher at Kenco for 14 years. Rebecca also delivered for Pizza Hut. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.  Rebecca enjoyed coloring posters, playing Yahtzee, watching the TV show "Cops". Two of her favorite things were playing Bingo with her mother, and going to the Hamilton County Speedway to watch her husband and son race. She also had a special place in her heart for her miniature wiener dogs, Hercules and Lola.  Rebecca's family includes her father Arnold of Webster City; daughter Bridget Koester of Des Moines; son Trenton (& his girlfriend Tammy Stueland) Dixon of Webster City; grandchildren: Hunter & Gage Dixon, of Webster City and brother Rick (Joy) Balsley of Taylor, Arizona. She was preceded death by her mother; brothers Rod and Randy; and her miniature wiener dog Lola.

Bridget Koester, 45, of Des Moines, died on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa.  A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 2:00-5:00 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City, Iowa.

Bridget was born on May 30, 1977, to Rebecca "Becky" Dixon and David Koester in Webster City, IA.  She graduated from Southeast Webster High School in 1995, and then AIB business College in 1998, after which she went to La James Cosmetology College.  She was currently working at Shear Madness Haircuts for kids in West Des Moines, Ankeny, Iowa.  In the past she was employed at Barr Nunn, Pagliai's Pizza, and cared for her mother.

Growing up Bridget had a baby doll named Suzy La La, and while in High School she was a cheer leader.  She had many different interests and hobbies, including miniature things, shopping, gardening, plants, and flowers.  She enjoyed sharing memories with others, sending cards for holidays, or just because cards.  She had a collection of Shoes and enjoyed buying random things and turning them into something else.  She loved to have her nails done.  Bridget attended Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran in Webster City and was Godmother of Madellane Hicks.  Her laughter was unforgettable and those who knew her loved her fiercely.

Bridget's family includes her beloved dog Max; father David Koester; sisters Alyssa (Zack Miller) Koester, and Whitney Miller; brothers:  Dylan (Caitlin Efstathiou) Koester, and Trenton (Tammy Stueland) Dixon; step-father Allen Dixon; step-sisters:  Allie and Ashley Jackson; nieces: Jordyn Stein, Addison Miller, Mckinley Doan, Aliyan Stueland  and Mya MacRunnel; nephews: Hunter and Gage Dixon, Creed Miller, Desmond Weber, Cameron Stueland and Dallas Jackson; cousin (not her friend) Matira Balsley; many Aunts, Uncles and cousins; her amazing friends and co-workers at Shear Madness; and special friend Shawn Rains.  She was preceded in death by her mother Becky Dixon; brother Jarid Koester; grandparents: Virginia and Delbert Koester, and Julie and Arnold Balsley.  Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Alyssa Koester.
