I believe she was daughter of Issac Carpenter and his wife _____Luce

famous in his law practice and moved to Wisconsin.
I have been unable to discover how they are related or any info on
the LUCE line, though there is quite alot on MHC's life.
I have newspaper obit for Susan C. Marston and a lineage for
Sylvester MARSTON. Seeking info on their 6 children:

> Hello John,
> My name is Mark Zehr. I was discussing my Carpenter ancestry with Ed Carpenter, and he suggested that I contact you. He told me that you have done extensive research on the Carpenter name.
>
> My great great great grandfather was Jesse (Sylvester) Carpenter b. about 1803 in Vermont. He shows up in the 1830 and 1840 censuses in Lewis County, NY. In the 1850 and 1860 census records he is located in Jefferson County, NY. He married Jerusha Tooley (Jerusha's maiden name as well as Sylvester as an alternate name are from their son's death certificate). Jesse and Jerusha had 7 daughters and a son: Betsey, b. 1830; Emeline, b. 1831, m. Dewitt Clintsman; Eliza, b. 1835; Pauline, b. 1838; Cynthia, b. 1841, m. Myron Owen; Karima or Narima, b. 1844; Lafayette, b. 1846, m1. Frances Stevens, m2. Carline Shloop; Mary, b. 1851.
>
> Most of the birth years are estimates based on census records.
>
> I am descended through Lafayette and his first wife Frances Stevens. Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
