NOTE:  She did NOT marry Elias Carpenter.
Elias Carpenter was the son of Ephraim Carpenter (1735 CT -1809 VT) and Tabitha Chaffee (1739 CT – 1824 CT).
Elias only married Sarah Prescott on 6 Dec 1798 in Strafford, Orange County, Vermont. Sarah died 6 Aug 1837 in Stratford.
