Mrs. Judith Roth, Norwood
Mass.; and Mrs. Julia Bailey,
Amissville, Va.; 13 grandchildren
and 27 greatgrandchildren.
Services were Thursday at
Monticello with burial in
Riverview Cemetery.

Mrs. Hannah S. Carpenter. wife of Donald G. Carpenter of 525 N. 2nd St . Emmaus. died Dec. 11 at the Sacred Heart hospital. She had been in poor health for several years and had been a hospital patient for nearly two weeks.
Born in Allentown. Mrs. Carpenter was the daughter of the late George E. K. and Esther, nee Steckel. Guth. She lived in Allentoun until nine years ago when she moved to Emmaus. She Attended the academic department of Cedar Crest and was graduated from the college. She was a member of Salem Evangelical and Reformed church and of the Woman's auxiliary of Muhlenberg college. Surviving are her husband, a brother Robert A. Guth of Baltimore and a sister, Sally. wife of Walter Wainright of San Idatel, Cal.
