They had a daughter, Minnie in 1882, but unfortunatly, their child passed away in 1883. Elvira's husband Phares also passed away two years later in 1885. On December 14, 1886, thirty-eight year old widow, Elvira remarried to Spencer F. Codding of Hinckley, Ohio. She lived in Hinckley, even after her second husband died on April 21, 1910. At her death, Elvira was buried next to her first husband, Phares, and her only child, Minnie.

Both are interred in the cemetery at Guys Mills.
He enlisted in the Civil War on Mar. 22, 1864, and was discharged June
28, 1865. Both he and his wife are interred near Baldwin, Butler County, PA.
She was born June 22, 1845 and died Aug. 26, 1913, at
the home of her daughter, Elizabeth Jewart near Buffalo, N.Y.

relatives. Randolph Township is in Crawford county, PA.
They lived near Jefferson, Ohio. With the help of
Estelle Carpenter of Cleveland, Ohio, we have tried to locate some of
Homer's descendants. So far no results.

Alexander. Lucinda graduated at Edinboro Normal School 1915. She
was a teacher and housewife and raised two daughters of her
sister, Sarah. Fred was a farmer.
