She is believed to be a daughter of Frances but a step daughter to Elias. But, this is more speculation than based on fact. She is in the 1865 NY State Census but not in the 1860 US Census.


Juliet Smith

Juliet Smith, daughter of Benjamin Smith. At the age of thirty-six years she was called from this life, and was followed the next year by her husband. Four sons, the eldest of whom was but thirteen years old, were left orphans, and were subsequently cared for by kind neighbors and friends.
