FORREST C. KELLER, age 92, departed this life, Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2006 at the Medina General Hospital.
He was born August 15, 1914, to Bert and Bernice (Freese) Keller in Brunswick, Ohio where he spent his entire life.

He was married nearly 60 years to Hazel (Morton) Keller, to whom were born twin sons, Richard and Roger. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel and his son Richard. He is survived by his son and grandchildren . Great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Bessie (Paul) Keller, and nephews, niece, cousins and many friends.

As a lifelong resident he contributed interesting and valuable information to the Brunswick Historical Society of which he was a member and also former Brunswick Township Trustee. Forrest expressed pride in his ancestry which included Abraham Freese, surveyor of this area. His love for antiques included possession of a 17 model T Ford, and many other unique and distinct antiques.

He was employed as a mechanical service director for the BHL Elevator in Valley City for 26 years, where his superior talent enabled International Harvester to obtain a patent. Following closure of the BHL, he was employed by International Harvester and Industrial Tractor in Cleveland, Ohio for 14 years, concluding a total career if 40 years.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH.

Calling hours- Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Marvel was born at Janesville, Minnesota on 5 January 1891; died at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital, Downey, California on 1 February 1964; was cremated and buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Glendale, California [Waseca Co., Minn., Births, Bk. B, p. 60, Line 2; Los Angeles Co., Calif., Deaths, District 7025, Cert. 2351; Soc. Sec. Recs., issued Calif.].

Marvel frequently traveled on business.  After James death Marvel initially resided with her adopted son, James Taylor, at Long Beach, California [Niece, pers. comm., Sept. 1996].

Marvel was enumerated in the 1940 and 1950 US Censuses at Beverly Hills, California.

James (Jerry) was born at Minneapolis, Minnesota on 25 January 1927; died at Buhl, Idaho on 10 October 2005; buried there at West End Cemetery. For the last several years of his life he resided Buhl,  Idaho [Patti Belden, pers. comm., Sept. 1996].

Jerry was adopted by James Ernest and Marvel Taylor Belden.  His birth name was William LEEMAN.  His birth mother, Dorothy, married by 1952, Claude HOWARD.

Jerry served in combat as a Seaman First Class for the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946 during WWII.  From 1948 to 1949 he worked as a traveling salesman in California, Oregon, and Washington.  From 1949 to 1951 he worked in the oil fields in Southern California.  From 1952 to 1957 he worked for the construction company owned by the husband of his birth mother, Claude HOWARD.  In 1958 he owned and operated a construction company in Southern California.  He removed to Las Vegas, Clark Co., Nevada, in 1959 where he owned and operated a construction company until his retirement in 1994.

Jerry married first Marian Marie ZANDER at Corning, Tehama Co., California, on 4 October 1947 .  They divorced at Las Vegas, Nevada 12 May 1960.  Marian was born at Glenham, Dewey Co., South Dakota 27 January 1930 to Henry K. ZANDER and Mildred Alice VANDERPOLE.  Marian and her parents removed to Corning, Tehama Co., California in 1936.

Jerry married second Arliss Ann FOLGER at Las Vegas, Nevada on 9 July 1960.  They divorced there in 1967.  Arliss died in Arizona in 1995.

Jerry married third  Patti Claire DANCIU at Las Vegas  3 July 1971 [Clark Co., Nev., VR, Marr., A369396].  Her memorial is also in Find-A-Grave.on

Jerry and Patti resided over 20 years at Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was a building contractor, and retired to the Twin Falls, Idaho area where they resided at Buhl, Idaho.
Although the Veteran's Administration National Gravesite Locator places Jerry in this cemetery, the cemetery does not list him in their records.  If you have information about his burial place, please let me know!  Thanks!

Patti married second James "Jerry" BELDEN at Las Vegas on 3 July 1971 [Clark Co., Nev., VR, Marr., A369396].

Jerry and Patti resided over 20 years at Las Vegas, where he was a building contractor, and retired to the Twin Falls, Idaho area where they resided at Buhl, Idaho.
