There is some confusion regarding the sex of this person.  Is Belary male or female?  The IGI has both!
Same for spouse, Augustine Lockwood!  The IGI has a marraige of the female Augustine Lockwood marrying a male Belary Carpenter about 1817 in Clintonville, Keeseville, NY.

SEX ISSUE RESOLVED!

"An Ecclesiastical Book Belonging to the First Presbyterian Church of Whitehall"
1822-1835?
(From Sleeper News, vol. 2, no. 2; vol. 2, no. 3; vol. 2, no. 4 and vol. 3, no. 1. Copyright 1998.)
The following is a copy of an old book, marked on the cover "Infant Baptisms and Marriages," and on the fly leaf "Memorandum of Baptisms and Marriages in the First Presbyterian Society of Whitehall--and occasional instances elsewehere--administered by me from my first settlement in the Gospel Ministry. Aug. 7, 1822."
Signed: John R. COE
The book is just above a hundred years old. It is very well preserved, and the writing is exceedingly bright. It is exactly the same size as this page, and about half an inch thick, with plain, rather thick paper, such as they used to prefer for quill pens. The cover is pasteboard with imitation leather back and corners.
Marriages
Augustus LOCKWOOD to Belora CARPENTER, Oct. 26, 1824 (Augustin LOCKWOOD died July 23, 1832, aged 30. Williams St. Cemetery).

Augustus Lockwood

NAME: Augustus not Augustine as reported by the CM.  See spouse's notes.
