Number 4015 in the Carpenter Memorial on page 425.
Family on page 627 (# 1087).  A machinst.

WILL: For another Henry!
His will was dated March 1802.  He paid in his will his wife Jemima for
bringing up the youngest until four years of age.  Bradford Steel was appointed
guardian of Betsey, who was about 13 years of age and David, age 10, Henry
about 7, Laura, age 4; children of the deceased Henry Carpenter.  The
guardianship was dated Oct. 7, 1803.
QUESTION:
If he was born in 1791 and 12 years later made a will and having a child age about 13 ... Methinks this is not his will?  -- Apparently it is for his uncle Henry.

Descendants of Gersham Carpenter submitted by:
Charles A. Carpenter (b.1947) of St. Cloud, FL.
The birth date given by the above is for his son. Adjustment made.
