Dear Mrs. Gardner,
My grandfather T.C. Robinson built over 300 buildings in Carbondale at the later part of the 1800's.  His daughter Minnie Robinson Moon often told of the terrible blizard they were trapped in on their way home from Greenfield to Carbondale on February 12, 1894, after visiting her grandfather Joseph Robinson in his log cabin in Greenfield......A Carbondale newspaper had indicated that the family of T.C. Robinson were trapped in a terrible storm on February 12, 1894 on their way home from Greenfield.  They spent the night at the farmhouse of Mr. & Mrs. Arnold.  My father's research does not show the name of the Carbondale paper or the date but he has a transcript of the article.....I am writing of their experience and I am trying to piece it together as acurately as possible,
Your truly,
Edward Robinson Chubb
