as a Phillip BEDDOE, age 10, is listed with this family in in the 1850 Harmony

COMMENT: The tenuous connection of Timothy the father to son John is based the 1843 deed citation below. AND, a Y-DNA test on a descendant confirms a genetic profile consistent with the Timothy as a father. See B209928 in Group 2 of the Carpenter Cousins Y-DNA Project.

NOTE:
Per Megan Carpenter - They went to live and work on Wolfe Island, Ontario where they had 5 children: Nancy b. 1847 Lavina b. 1849 John born 8 March 1851. This is who we descend from. Duane William b. 1855 Celina b. 1857 John and Lany are on the 1851 Ontario census with Nancy, Lavina, John, and Merritt Dailey, Lany's son by her first marriage. They returned to the US in either 1861 or 1863. John died 13 June 1872 in Chaumont NY. He is buried in the Freeman Tract Cemetary with his first wife Cimanthy on one side, and second wife Lany on the other. A photo of John's headstone is attached to this email.  Megan Carpenter < carpem13@gmail.com >
BUT ... that John Carpenter was born about 1795 in Canada!
AND ... no birth records found yet for children.
