Duane William b. 1855 Celina b. 1857 John and Lany are on the 1851 Ontario census with Nancy, Lavina, John, and Merritt Dailey, Lany's son by her first marriage. They returned to the US in either 1861 or 1863. John died 13 June 1872 in Chaumont NY. He is buried in the Freeman Tract Cemetary with his first wife Cimanthy on one side, and second wife Lany on the other. A photo of John's headstone is attached to this email.
