Subject: Hi John
Hi John,
Saw a 2000 note from Peg under Luther Carpenter - from the Jessie Ray branch.
#9280.
I am Luther’s great-great granddaughter - from William Levert Carpenter, Jessie Ray’s brother.
She seemed to be asking for comments on a website… but I couldn’t figure it out.
I just met last week with my uncle who is a “male” carpenter decedent. My father has passed, but my brother is alive (not sure he would do the DNA). I am willing to do the DNA.
I seem to be part of the William Carpenter branch.. hmmm
Help!!

NOTE:
Not with family in 1900 US Census.
Per the mother's list of children born/living in the 1900 US Census, she had 8 children of which 8 are still living.
This makes me think that this Gilbert is misplaced or incorrect for this family.
BUT ... in the 1910 US Census the mother reports that she had 9 children of which 8 are alive. And no children born after 1900.
They had John Woodrow Brown who married Mary Louise Brehm. And those two had Lloyd J. Brown of Mount Vernon, WA.
