DEATH:Went to Hoquiam, WA in December, 1905. He died after appendix surgery.
Information from the "Memories of Pansy C. Galloway Tramm,"
provided by Gary and Velerie Tramm in Longview, WA.
Probably had a brother, Tom Strittmatter, that Uncle Ed remembers being a
friend of the family.
21300. Calvin Kingsley Lewallen
OCCUPATION: Teacher and Mail Carrier.
Superintendent of the Sunday School of the First Methodist Church of Oneida
for 40 years. There is a lovely article on p. 116 of Scott Co.TN and Its
Families written by Mildred Proctor.
OCCUPATION: Teacher.
This is probably the same person who married to Calvin Kingsley Lewallen
Sr. "Scott Co. and It's Families" on p. 116 says she lived 1886-1970
and was C.K.'s wife for 29 years and stepmother to his children but doesn't
mention Thelma and Juanell. George Galloway is the source of the name
"Charles" and possibly was mistaken since both C.K. & Charles were merchants.
OR Charles and Calvin were brothers.
21320. Rhoda Artelia "Tettie" "Teddie" Carpenter
NAME: Rhoda Artelia (Tettie or Teddie) /Carpenter/.
CHILDREN: The first six children appear to be born before the noted marriage
date as in listed order. Was there a previous marriage? For whom? Albert or
Lillie? Or more likely, the children are out of order?
