Mrs. Cadwell was born in Maple Springs, Jan 13, 1879, a daughter of Orlando and Fannie Carpenter and was a lifelong resident of the area. She had wintered in Sarasota for the past 30 years. A charming hostess, Mrs. Cadwell was a woman of lovely character, domestic in her tastes and endowed with a keen sense of humor and cheerfulness.

A son, Ford Cadwell, Dewittville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Jane Morell, Niagara Falls; a sister, Mrs. Elton Hunt, Jamestown, and several nieces and nephews survive. Besides her husband and parents Mrs. Cadwell was preceded in death by two sister, Lelia Townsend and Belle Furlow.
