Annabell was adopted by Charles and Jesse Mollison, evidently her
mother died in Childbirth and she and her two (?) sisters were put up for
adoption.  Her natural father was George Boughner, and her mother was
Mary Mc Intyre.  He took her brothers and went to Canada. Mary Mc
Intyre is buried in New River Cemetery Section 47.  She was born May 11 1851.

Mrs. Kane worked for Briggs Mfg in Detroit during WWII and retired from GM's Fischer body. In addition to her employment, Mrs. Kane, from an early age and throughout the years, kept house and provided care for family members, children and the elderly. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of nearly 42 years, Richard L. "Dick" Kane; her parents, Ira and Annabell (Mollison) Carpenter; brothers, Charles (Helen), and Gordon (Mildred) Carpenter; sisters, Helen (David) Toner, Jessie (Emil) Switzer and Rosa (Harvey) Donahue.

She is survived by sisters, Margaret (Carroll "Toss") Vane, Mary Ellen (Charles) Gothro and Loretta (Robert) McCreedy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 4, 2012
The family held a memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the VFW, Morley S. Oates, Post 701, Lansing, MI in memory of Mrs. Kane.

Arrangements under the direction of Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing, MI.

the University of TX at Austin for two years, then traveled extensively in
the US, Europe, Africa and South America.  In World War Two, he entered the Air
Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant on April 10, 1942 and completed his service as a
Major (AUS) on March 11, 1946.  He lived in San Paulo, Brazil; Antwerp,
Beligium; NY City, USA; San Juan, Puerto Rico and Caracas, Venezuela.
He retired as a corporation executive June 27, 1967 and was residing in Fort
Lauderdale, FL in 1971.

Mrs. Bunkley, former Stamford and Haskell County resident, died Friday night in a Big Spring hospital where she had been a patient several weeks.
Born Myrlie Mae Carpenter March 18. 1882, in Farmersville, She was married there to Mr. Bunkley in 1907. They moved here in 1909 and later to Haskell County.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, by her husband: four sons, W. D. of Abilene, Earl of Sweetwater, Roger of Stamford and Dan of Villa Platte, La.; four daughters, Mrs. J. D. Jones of Big Spring, Mrs. Farris Shoefee of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Donald Raleigh of Salisbury, Md., and Mrs. R. E. Brown of Austin; a sister, Mrs. David Switzer of Dallas, 20n grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
