They had 8 children - Florence Elizabeth, Murrell Richard, Albert Don, Alvin Leon, Archibald Paul, John Ernest, David Charlie, and Mildred Mae. She was preceded in death by her husband and 3 of the children, Alvin, Archie, & Mildred.
My grandma stayed with our family in Phoenix, Arizona every winter after grandpa died, most of the time we shared my bedroom. She was a gentle influence for good in my life. It is from her that I gained a love of the scriptures. ---Claudia (Steele) Bourdon
