was born to William and Edna (Green) Griffis.
She married Kenneth Dunlap on July 21, 1939, in Hart, Michigan; they
were married 60 years before he passed away on January 2, 2000.
Doris is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Curtis of Hart; three
grandsons, Scott (Candice) Curtis of Hart, Bud (Fiancée Evelyn
Thompson) Curtis of Shelby, and Ron (Stacy) Curtis of Walhalla; four
great-grandchildren, Dakota Curtis, Nick Curtis, Georgia Curtis, and
Luke Curtis.

They had no children of their own, but they raised a little girl. She was the dau of Eleanor's sister and was adopted by Arthur and Eleanor. when she was about 2 yrs. old. Her mother, Lillian, had died. Arthur died at age 81 according to letter from Nancy Grant of Pentwater, MI in Dec. 1999.
