Iva O Carpenter Michael was the oldest daughter of Elmer E Carpenter and Jennie Sophia Blodgett Carpenter. She was born in Pierce County, Wisconsin and spent her entire life in that same county. She married Ceary Michael on 14 Nov 1922 in Red Wing, Goodhue County, Minnesota. Iva and Ceary had one daughter, Doreen.
