Silas Gibb WOODY was born on 16 Jan 1900 in Park Ridge, Cook Co., IL.
He died on 24 Apr 1977 in California. He was buried in Chicago, IL.
Cause of death - aortic aneurysm.
He died while playing cards with family after the wedding in California of a
niece. He was married to Loraine DRISCOLL on 17 Nov 1928. Children were: Silas
Gibb WOODY, Jr.

She suffered with multiple sclerosis for almost 40 years.
She was married to William WOODY on 1 Jun 1927 in Chicago, IL.
Children were: William WOODY Jr., Jane Ann WOODY.

Howard Glenn WOODY(198) was born on 2 Jun 1910 in Park Ridge, Cook Co., IL. He
graduated on 14 Jun 1937 in University of Idaho. He graduated on 28 Aug 1941 in
The University of Chicago - Rush Medical College. He died on 11 Nov 1992 in
Springfield, IL. He was buried on 16 Nov 1992 in Camp Butler Cemetery,
Springfield, IL. He was an orthopedic surgeon in Springfield,
IL and had served as an Army surgeon in the European theater during World
War II.  He retired, a Brigadier General, from the Illinois National Guard in
1970 where he served as Surgeon General for over 10 years.
He was married to Anita May KORT on "Private".
Children were: Bruce Glenn WOODY(the submitter of this line!!!),
Peter Kort WOODY, John Michael WOODY, Deborah Jo WOODY, Elizabeth Ann WOODY,
Sara Ann WOODY.

Buckley O. Carpenter
April 4, 1930-Jan.10, 2018 Buckley O. Carpenter, age 87, of Monroe, passed away January 10, 2018 at Masonicare, Newtown, CT.
Mr. Carpenter was born in Bridgeport to the late Thomas and Mildred Carpenter.
He was the proprietor of B. Carpenter and Son Trucking, He also worked for Dolan Steel, Hi Ho D'Addario and International Harvester.
Mr. Carpenter was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor Drew Carpenter; three devoted children Linda Carpenter of Monroe, CT, Deborah Szymanski and her husband Stanley of Portland, CT and Thomas Carpenter and his wife Bonnie of Shelby, OH; four loving grandchildren Laura Keating and her husband John Keating, Emily McGeown-Balda and her husband Mark, Beau Carpenter and his wife Lauryn, Sarah Cherry and her husband Ben; four cherished great grandchildren Evan, Meghan, Thaddeus and Sadie and his faithful canine companion Mighty. He was predeceased by his grandson Patrick McGeown.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Cyril F.Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Interment will be private.
Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
