11. Thomas I. Carpenter

NOTE:  He was a Captain of Militia.
CHILDREN:  Per Barbara Lee
It seems that almost all the widely published information on William's descendants have overlooked the children of his son Thomas. My genealogist found a handwritten, and unsigned, family tree in the Chester Co. archives which lists the birthdates and spouses of all of Thomas' children, as follows:
1. Esther, b 1-13-1768, m. William Entriken, b. 10-30-1757, d. 1831; son of Samuel Entriken and Mary (Huey?)
2. Francis, b. 2-27-1771, d. 6-10-1837, m. Sarah Baily (you have all this info.)
3. John, b. 2-10-1777, d. 11 Apr 1860,  m. 17 May 1801 Sallie Shultz, dau. Charles Shultz & Susannah.  She is buried at 4th & Arch Friends Meeting [he is my husband's ancestor].  Source for the marriage comes from the records at Old Swede's Church, Phila. Source for John's death date is cemetary card file @ Chester Co. Historical Society. He is buried at Oaklands Cemetery, West Chester.
4. William
5. Margaret (unmarried)
