2195. Ricky William Hannahs

MILLERSBURG -- Ricky "Bill" Hannahs, 55, of Millersburg, and formerlyof Salesville, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning (Feb. 23, 2014)at his home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Alexander FuneralHome, Millersburg.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery with military rites beingconducted by the Killbuck VFW.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeralhome.
He was born June 21, 1958, in Barnesville, son of Roy and Juanita(Kupfer) Hannahs.
Mr. Hannahs worked for the Village of Millersburg for more than 20years. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member ofthe Millersburg Eagles and the Millersburg American Legion. He lovedgolfing and was an avid Cleveland Sports fan and Ohio State Buckeye'sfan.
Surviving are his son, Brandon (Nichole) Hannahs of Zanesville; hisdaughter, Ricki (Jared) Rossiter of Columbus; one grandson, CameronScott Hannahs of Zanesville; two sisters, Sue (John) Landon ofKillbuck and Pam (Bob) Gates of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, RonHannahs of Barnesville, Danny Ray "Jeff" Hannahs of Cambridge and Mike(Cindi) Hannahs of Millersburg; several nieces and nephews; and hisgirlfriend, Ruth Crissey of Millersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, HarryHannahs and Jim Hannahs.


Herschel Dean Lashley

MILLERSBURG---Herschel D. Lashley, 44, of Killbuck, a native of NobleCounty, died Monday afternoon (March 30, 1981) at Wooster CommunityHospital following an illness.
He was born March 13, 1937, in Noble County, son of Wilbur B. Lashleyand the late Icel Irlene Lent. He formerly resided in Noble andGuernsey Counties and graduated from Batesville High School in 1954.He was employed 17 years with the V.O. Menuez and Son Co.,Millersburg. He was a member of Killbuck Veterans of Foreign Wars Post7079; Homesville American Legion Post; and Millersburg FOE Aerie 2418.
In addition to his father he leaves his step mother, Elise Lashley ofQuaker City; his wife the former Carolyn Sue Hannahs, whom he marriedJune 6, 1959; one son Jeffrey D. Lashley of Columbus; three daughters,Tammy Sue and Teresa J., both of the home; Mrs. Craig (Tracey A.)McCombs, of Millersburg; one granddaughter, two sisters, Mrs. Willie(Lenora) LaFever of Quaker City, Mrs. Richard (Vernetta) Wilson ofCumberland; a step-sister, Sharon Lashley of Buffalo; and severalnieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3:30 P.M. Thursday at Elliott-Hartline FuneralHome, Millersburg, with the Rev. Jerry Cain officiating. Burial willbe in Killbuck Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by VFWPost 7079. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9P.M.
