She was born June 12, 1932, in Belmont County, a daughter of the lateJohn and Vera Carpenter Flood.
She was a former employee of Broughton's Restaurant, Quaker City andwas a homemaker.  She was a member of Quaker City United MethodistChurch and the Circle of Angles.
Mrs. Zayac was preceded in death by a brother, Guy Flood, and asister, Maxine Ball.
She leaves her husband Valentine "Bill" Zayac, whom she married June20, 1953;  two daughters and son-in-laws, Vickie and Terry Liptak ofLore City and Valorie and Bill Gilcher of Cambridge;  a brother, JohnFlood of Quaker City;  a sister, Navale Thompson of Quaker City;  sixgrandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Bobby Gilcher, all ofCambridge and Julie, Tara and Kylie Liptak all of Lore City.

She was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Barnesville, daughter of the late JohnF. and Vera Carpenter Flood.
Mrs. Thompson was a home-maker.  She was a long time member of QuakerCity United Methodist Church and the "Circle of Angels" group of thechurch.  She was a 1948 graduate of Quaker City High School.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy and John Neal Flood;two sisters, Maxine Ball and June Zayac.

He was born Dec. 7, 1921 in Monroe County, son of the late John F. andVera Carpenter Flood.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II andretired from North American Coal Co.  He was a Methodist by faith.
He was in death by a sister, Maine Ball.
Mr. Flood leaves his wife,  Gertrude Lucas Flood;  three daughters.Mrs. John (Joyce) Butler of Quaker City;  Mrs. Leslie (Connie) Morganof Beckley, W.Va. and Bridget Flood of Quaker City;  two sisters, Mrs.Gene (Navale) Thompson and Mrs. Bill (June) Zayac,  both of QuakerCity;  six grandchildren;  a great-grandson;  and several nieces andnephews.

QUAKER CITY---L. Gertrude Flood, 72, of Quaker City, died Tuesday(July 25, 2000) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center,Cambridge.
She was born June 22, 1928, in Temperanceville,  daughter of the lateRoss and Josie (Carpenter) Lucas.
Mrs. Flood retired from Belmont Manufacturing and Jonathan Logan ofBarnesville,  where she served as a seamstress.  She was a homemakerand loved camping at Seneca Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Flood, who died March12, 1992.  They were married July 6, 1946.  Also deceased are threebrothers, Chester Lucas, Clarence Lucas and Francis Lucas; and asister, Betty Holland.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. John (Joyce) Butler of Quaker City,Mrs. Leslie (Connie) Morgan of Crestwood, Ky. and Bridget Flood ofBarnesville;  six grandchildren, John David, Jody, Joe, Todd, Tiffanyand Tristan;  three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Annessia and Alexis;several nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Maxine T. Ball, of Lakeland Addition, RD 1, Senecaville, died at theGuernsey Memorial Hospital.  She was born March 9, 1924, at Batesvillea daughter of the late John and Vera Carpenter Flood.
Employed by Campus Shirt Company,  The Barnesville Manufacturing Co.and the Hanlon Paper Co., all of Barnesville, she was a Methodist byfaith.
Surviving are her husband, Richard H. Ball;  two daughters, Mrs. Bill(Carol) Tracey of Quaker City and Mrs. Rick (Susan) McCraken ofBarnesville;  two brothers, Guy Flood and John Neal Flood, both ofQuaker City;  two sisters, Mrs. Gene (Navale) Thompson and Mrs. Bill(June) Zayac, both of Quaker City;  four grandchildren; several niecesand nephews.

He was born April 30, 1923, in Barnesville, son of the late Charlesand Matilda Ella (Taylor) Ball.
He was a retired auto mechanic with Bob?s Chevrolet; an Army veteranof WWII, serving with Patton?s 3rd Army; member of the SenecaSportsman Club; V.F.W. 2792 of Barnesville; and was a Protestant byfaith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his firstwife, Maxine (Flood) Ball; second wife, Edith Miller; two brothers,Albert and Robert Ball; two sisters, Virginia Ball and Mary CrumTarleton; and a daughter, Carol Tracy.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan (Rick) McCracken of Barnesville;two sisters, Eileen Anderson and Hazel Moore both of Barnesville; fourgrandchildren, Shawn (Corina) Tracy, Patric (Amanda) Tracy, Shannon(Vaughn) Hendershot, and John McCracken; seven great- grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to herparents, Sandra was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard A.Lawhead and her second husband, Elton T. A native of Telogia, FL, he has resided in Tallahassee most of hislife. He was a Navy Veteran, Navy Seal "Frogman", a retired ironworkerfor Watkins, he loved to hunt and was a member of Faith BaptistChurch.
Elton is survived by his wife, Sandra Morgan; son, Thomas Lee Morganof S. Carolina; daughter, Tara Alford; stepchildren, Kelli, Traci,Todd, and Brad Lawhead and Tammi Cone; two brothers, Curtis Morgan andComas Morgan (Debbie); sister, Edith Callaway (George) of S.
