He moved his family to southern Calif in 1969.  He died of natural causes 6 years after his wife Fran died #95894167 who he married July 7, 1954. he was 80.  Neil left behind, 6 children, 3 boys & 3 girls, 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Neil's only sister Darlene Carpenter Long #95866258 passed in 1994.

Fran was killed in a car accident. she was 72.  She left behind a husband Neil 95894476, who she married on July 7, 1954. 6 children, 3 boys & 3 girls, 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Fran had 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She is missed everyday by her family.
Fran loved all her children and grand children equally despite there problems or differences and she did not take sides.

Craig moved with his gamily from Ohio in Jul 1969 at the age of 4.  He was the youngest of six children of Neil and Frances.  In the late 1990’s his parents fronted money for him to open C. C. Carburetor in El Cajon Ca.  Craig was a good trouble shooter taught by Dooley Renshaw (96732066).
Craig dabbled in drag racing have gotten a 59 ford that was race ready.

He was born April 25, 1933, in Calais, son of the late Marion Elwoodand Melissa Cline Baker.
Mr. Baker was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Nelson TreeService. He also worked for Ruble Construction and was co-owner ofHarriman-Baker Timber.
He attended Calais Church and was a member of Caldwell Moose Lodge.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Elwood Baker Jr.
He leaves his wife, Betty Lou Huntsman Baker, whom he married Jan. 19,1957; five daughters, Debbie Kay (Aaron) Lamber of Dexter City, BrendaLee Odgen of South Carolina, Joyce Ann Baker of Caldwell, SusanDarlene Hannah of North Carolina and Teresa Marie (Rick) Davis ofCaldwell; three sons, William Harold (Rachel) Baker of Caldwell,Thomas Elwood (Seena) Baker of Caldwell and Kenneth Earl (Nanette)Baker of Hawaii; a sister, Jenny (Tom) LaFollette of Lewisville; 15grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces andnephews.

SENECAVILLE---Darrell R. Baker, 41,  Columbus, former resident ofLewisville R.D. died at noon Tuesday at Riverside Methodist Hospital,Columbus following a brief illness.
He was born in Newark on Jan. 11, 1926,  the son of Mrs. ZeldaKindleberger Baker, and the late Homer Baker,  and was employee of theTernstead Division of General Motors in Columbus.  He was a member ofMaple Grove Methodist,  Columbus and a Navy veteran of World War 11.
In addition to his wife the former Myrtie Billman who, he marriedSept. 12, 1948;  he leaves two daughters, Linda and Lana Sue Bakerboth of the home;  one son James Baker of the home;  one sister,  Mrs.Georgene Stevens,  Marietta; two brothers,  Donald Baker of Canton andBryon Baker, Caldwell;  a half-sister,  Mrs. Mary Layne of Columbus.
The body was bought to the Meek Funeral Home where friends may callafter 4 P.M. Thursday.  On Friday it will return to the SouthwickFuneral Home, Columbus for call hours from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.

Ronald D. Hannum, 71, of 27247 Barnett Road, Summerfield, Ohio diedMonday, May 5, 2008 in the emergency room at Southeastern OhioRegional Medical Center, Cambridge, Ohio.
He was born at Sarahsville, Ohio on February 1, 1937 a son of the lateMildred Hannum and step-father, Harry Moore.
He was currently a car salesman for Kountry Kar Kare in Woodsfield,Ohio and was formerly affiliated with Caldwell Motors, Caldwell, Ohiofor 25 years. He was a Methodist by faith and was a member of theOlive Lodge #210 F & A.M., Mt. Ephraim, Ohio. He enjoyed gardening,four wheeling and especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Barnett Hannum whom he married onSeptember 20, 1958; one daughter: Denise (Tim) Wells of Summerfield,Ohio; three sons: Darren (Lisa) Hannum of Eighty Four, Pennsylvania,Derek (Linn) Hannum of Orlando, Florida and Doug (Michelle) Hannum ofKennonsburg, Ohio; nine grandchildren: Jamie Wells, Cody and TiaHannum, Andrew, Alex, Frances and Logan Hannum, Simone and Max Hannum.

daughter of the late Charles and Molly Barnes Barnett.  She was anemployee
of the Liebert Corp. in Worthington, Oh. and was also a protestant byfaith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 infantbrothers.
Survived by her husband, Nolan L. Christman, whom she married onSeptember
3, 1956; sons, Lyndon Christman of Zanesville, Oh. and Eric Christmanand

2852. James Truman Moore

M-Sgt. James Truman Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry T. Moore, ofSummerfield Route 1, was killed Friday night in a car in which he wasriding struck a tree.
The accident occurred 300 yards from post headquarters at Ft. Devens,Mass., where Sgt. Moore had been stationed. Two companions with himwere injured in the crash.
The body was received by the Bruback Funeral Home, Summerfield, at11:55 P.M. Tuesday in Barnesville and returned to the home. Funeralservices were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from theSummerfield Church of Christ with Evangelist McKinley Batesofficiating. Burial will be in Eastern Cemetery.
Full military rites were accorded the victim by members of theSummerfield American Legion Post and V.F.W. Post in Caldwell. He was amember of the Summerfield post.
Sgt. Moore was a member of the 76th Field Artillery Battalion.
The body of Sgt. Moore was accompanied to Summerfield by M-Sgt.Herbert E. Hall of Fort Devens, who severed as the military escortfrom the post.
James Truman Moore was born May 4, 1930, at Lewisville Route in MonroeCounty, a son of Harry T. and Louella Barnes Moore.
He attended school at Whigville and Summerfield and enlisted with theU.S. Army when he was 18 years old on May 27, 1948. During this hitch,he served four years, two which were in Japan and ten months in Korea.
On April 4, 1952, he was discharged from the service, but after onlythree months, he re-enlisted on June 13, 1952, with the plan that hewas going to make the Army a career.
He was married to Miss Betty Warner of Summerfield on Dec. 24, 1953 byEvangelist McKinley Bates. One son was born to this union on Sept. 15,1954 at Ft. Devens Army Hospital.
In addition to his wife and son, James T. Moore, he is survived by hisparents and two sisters, Mrs. Myrl Ruble of Cambridge and Naoma Mooreof the home, and five brothers, Harry T. Charles, Terry, Thomas andTim, all of the home.

Frank Love will officiate. Burial will be in Eastern Cemetery,Summerfield. Military graveside services will be conducted by theCaldwell VFW Post 4721.

He was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Summerfield, son of the late Benjaminand Gladys (Mosely) Ruble.
Mr. Rubel retired from the former Cambridge State Hospital, whereserved as a custodian. He was a member of Summerfield Church of Christand was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in World War II. He was alifetime member of the Kipling VFW Post 7371 of Kipling and a memberof the Loyal Order of Moose 631 of Cambridge, and American Legion Post415 in Summerfield.
He was preceded in death by a sister Louise Harding.
He leaves his wife, Patricia "Pat" Moore Ruble, whom he married Sept.1 1948; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Nancy) Carpenter of Barnesville; fourgrandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Thursday 23 March 2000Cambridge Jeffersonian Cambridge Ohio.

SUMMERFIELD--Naoma E. Philpot, 63, of Byesville, formerly ofSummerfield, died Monday (Sept. 13, 1999) at her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1935, in Summerfield, daughter of the lateHarry T. and Luella (Barnes) Moore.
Mrs. Philpot was a retired machinist at March Electric in Cambridge.She was a Protestant by faith and a member of the American LegionAuxiliary of Dexter City, VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Kipling and theMoose Lodge in Cambridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Philpot, who died Aug.26, 1979; two brothers, Tom Moore and Jimmie Moore.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Peggy) Carpenter of Summerfield;two step-daughters, Mrs. James (Elaine) Morrison of Caldwell and Mrs.Rodney (Marlene) Leach of Massillon; a sister, Mrs. Myrl (Patricia L.)Ruble of Cambridge; four brothers, Harry T. Born in Summerfield on Dec. 20, 1913, he was the son of the lateClifford M. and Mary Lou Philpot. He was a laborer, a veteran of WorldWar II and a member of Laborers' International Union in Zanesville,Summerfield American Legion Post 415, Caldwell VFW and DAV andSummerfield Lodge 425 F&AM.
Mr. Philpot leaves his wife, the former Naoma Moore of the home; threedaughters, Mrs. Marlene Leach of Massillon, Mrs. Eliane Morrison ofCaldwell R.D. 6 and Mrs. Peggy Carpenter of Summerfield; ninegrandchildren; and one sister. Mrs. Owen (Martha) Morgan ofBarnesville.
